  1. IDEA 1 OF 6

    Work for work's sake

Do good work without expecting reward or recognition.

Attachment to results binds and disturbs you; the work itself is the point.

  2. IDEA 2 OF 6

    Every duty is sacred

There is no high or low work.

Doing your own duty well is a form of worship.

  3. IDEA 3 OF 6

    Helping is a privilege

When you help someone, you are the one who benefits.

    Give without expecting thanks.

  4. IDEA 4 OF 6

    Stay unattached

Be like a lotus leaf in water: fully engaged in the world but not stained by it.

  5. IDEA 5 OF 6

    Work shapes character

Repeated actions build tendencies, and tendencies form character.

Choose actions with that in mind.

  6. IDEA 6 OF 6

    Strength before non-resistance

Non-resistance is the ideal only when it comes from strength.

Practised from weakness, it is mere cowardice.
